The Village Commission of New Minas wishes to support children and youth who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in sport, recreation, arts and leisure activities, regardless of their socio-economic situation. To this end, funding is made available to assist children and youth to participate in Village-run and other programs. This funding is made possible through the generosity of local sponsors, and by the Village Commission of New Minas’ operating funds. If you wish to apply for this assistance, please click the link to the right for the application and further information.

The Village of New Minas would like to take the Canada Post strike as an opportunity to ask our water utility customers to switch their payment method to email. Firstly, this will ensure that you receive our January water bill. There are also long-term benefits to switching.
Please drop by our Village Office at the Louis Millet Community Complex, or phone 902-681-6972 to change your payment method. We would also appreciate it if you could spread the word by sharing this notification and talking about it with your friends and family in the Village of New Minas!
