ACTIVE KIDS HEALTHY KIDS

Active Kids Healthy Kids is a funding program available to support programs and initiatives to improve access to physical activity opportunities for children and youth or that enable children and youth to lead physically active lifestyles or that address risk factors to participating in physical activity such as: healthy eating, mental health, etc.

Past projects funded include:

• Snowshoe Loans
• Family Fish Day 2023
• Gaga ball pit
• Accessible Playground Swing
• Program equipment
• Playboxes
• Equipment supplies for youth programming
• Youth led leadership building

This program divides Kings County area into 2 regions for funding; Eastern Kings including Hantsport to Coldbrook, and Western Kings Including Cambridge to Kingston.
