⚠️ SCAM ALERT – FRAUDULENT CALLS CLAIMING TO BE FROM NEW MINAS WATER DEPARTMENT ⚠️

We have received a report from a New Minas resident regarding a suspicious phone call from someone falsely claiming to be from the New Minas Water Department. The caller, using the number 902-609-5523, initially asked about water services before shifting to personal questions. The resident recognized the call as suspicious and hung up immediately.

Please be aware that no one from Public Works or the Water Department made this call. This is a scam attempt.
